Mr Gannon is responsible for leading Guardant Health’s access and policy strategy across Europe and the Americas regions. He has more than 20 years’ experience in the international life sciences and biopharma sector.
Before joining Guardant Health, he was Vice President – International Access, Policy and Advocacy at Myriad Genetics. In this role, he established Myriad’s access and policy capability, which led to several positive reimbursement decisions for the company’s portfolio of genetic, prognostic and CDx tests in Europe. Previously, Mr Gannon established and led the international government affairs, policy and patient engagement function with Vertex Pharmaceuticals, supporting policy and community engagement. His previous roles include senior government affairs, access and policy roles with Gilead, Johnson & Johnson and GlaxoSmithKline.
He is a Board member of EUCOPE, the European Confederation of Pharmaceutical Industries, where Guardant is leading a newly established pan-European genomics industry coalition calling for greater investment into the Advanced Diagnostics ecosystem in Europe.
