Dr Yang has a broad background in pulmonary medicine, with specific training and expertise in biomarker validation and radiomics data analysis based on artificial intelligence platforms. His research interests include modern screening methods for patients with pulmonary nodules, including the application of biomarker panels to facilitate the early detection of lung cancer.
Dr Yang is the principal investigator for several programmes and is also Secretary for the Chinese Alliance Against Lung Cancer. He is also a member of International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) Screening and Early Detection Committee.
