Katy was diagnosed with cancer in her twenties, which marked the beginning of her journey as a patient advocate. Since then, she has dedicated herself to connecting individuals living with cancer and supporting their families, embodying the belief that ‘Together, we walk further’.
In addition to providing patient support, she manages public awareness and patient empowerment programmes. Recently, Katy has also aligned her efforts with the organisation’s mission to emphasise prevention and early detection, recognising their critical importance in cancer care.
Over the years, Katy has actively shared her experiences across various social media platforms, as well as in magazines and newspapers, highlighting the vital role of amplifying voices in today’s digital landscape. By raising awareness about cancer, she aims to empower others and foster a community of support.
Katy is committed to collaborating with stakeholders globally to achieve shared goals in cancer awareness and advocacy.
