In 2020, Ms Pateli Bell founded FairLife Lung Cancer Care, the only non-profit organisation dedicated to lung cancer in Greece, following her late husband’s diagnosis and passing. Through FairLife L.C.C., she provides unwavering support and education to individuals and families affected by lung cancer.
She is also Treasurer of the board of Lung Cancer Europe and a Patient Research Advocate in the STARS program, implemented by the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer.
Under her leadership, FairLife L.C.C. has received numerous awards for its educational and awareness activities, psychological support for patients and caregivers, and sustainable initiatives targeting the younger generation.
