Dr Sewanti Limaye specialises in the treatment of solid tumours, including breast, lung, head and neck, GI, GU and gyn cancers. She has been involved in research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Columbia University Medical Center and the National Cancer Institute. She served on the Tata Memorial Hospital ethics board, and co-founded Iylon Precision Oncology.
She has led several national and international trials, and has been a part of Data Safety Monitoring Boards. She received the John-Flynn Young Investigator Award for Excellence in Clinical Research, the Rose and Jack Horowitz Award for excellence in patient care, and the Medical Oncology Research Excellence Award-ASCO 2008 for excellence in clinical research. She was nominated to serve as the National Chair of the Sub-protocol Arm B of the landmark NCI-MATCH Trial.
