Dr. Amankulov plays a pivotal role in advancing lung cancer screening initiatives, and contributes to the development and implementation of national screening programmes aimed at early detection and improved patient outcomes.
He has been actively involved in research on screening programmes, including pilot studies conducted in Almaty City and the East Kazakhstan region. His work focuses on optimising screening protocols, integrating advanced imaging technologies, and ensuring accessibility for high-risk populations.
As part of his commitment to global collaboration, Dr. Amankulov is also working with the International Early Lung Cancer Action Program to align Kazakhstan’s screening efforts with international best practice.
