Originally published in 2023, the Network’s five factsheets on targeted low-dose computed tomography (LDCT) lung cancer screening have been updated to reflect the latest evidence and are now available to download.
Since they were first published, progress in lung cancer screening policy has accelerated. Several countries have introduced or expanded national LDCT screening programmes, recognising its value as a proven, cost-effective approach to detecting lung cancer earlier and improving outcomes for people at highest risk.
The updated factsheets equip advocates with clear, evidence-based tools to continue building support for targeted LDCT screening among policymakers and health system decision-makers. We hope these resources will help sustain momentum, so more people can benefit from life-saving earlier detection and diagnosis.
